Yanping Du

About

Dr. Yanping Du is currently an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Energy Storage and Conversion at University of Exeter. He received his PhD in Thermal Energy Storage at University of Leeds and Bachelor's Degree in Thermal Energy Engineering at Xi' an Jiaotong University (China). After the PhD, he was appointed as an Acting Project Leader/ Postdoctoral Fellow in CSIRO in Australia and then an Associate Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Dr. Du has broad research interests in multidisciplinary areas concerning future energy, materials and devices to tackle challenges in energy and environment for securing a sustainable future. Specifically, his research discpiplines include: 1) Energy Conversion and Saving: including Superhigh Heat Flux Transportation, and Waste Heat Recovery 2) Energy Storage: electro-chemical/ thermochemical batteries 3) Hydrogen: in-situ production, storage/ purification, hydrogen driven transport 4) Hydrocarbon Fuels: CO2 based, thermo-photo-electro-catalysis;
